Airborne Communications Ltd is a company dedicated to providing complete long range communications solutions for areas and situations not presently covered by existing comms systems. We bring together personnel, consultancy services, equipment and flying facilities to provide a turnkey service that solves problems such as cellular blackspots, difficult jungle
communications, covert communications, video links to distant unmanned systems, ELINT and EW.

Airborne Communications Consultancy and R&D Services.
It is possible overcome many of the world’s most difficult communications challenges by using Airborne Communications consultancy and R&D services. We look at the requirements, then work out the best solutions using our real-world experience of airborne communications and our knowledge of the equipment and personnel available to successfully meet the requirements. We then tailor these solutions specifically to the customers particular situation. We can visit sites
physically or work remotely.

This work may only involve consultancy, or consultancy plus a practical R&D project involving lifting equipment to altitude for testing. At the conclusion of the work a report is then issued outlining the methods, performance of the equipment and results.

Using Helikites, Airborne Communications offers an array of options for quick deploy-able communication services with high bandwidth and coverage. These versatile Helikite aerostats are a patented combination of a helium balloon and kite. Helikite aerostats overcome the shortfalls of normal tethered balloons, UAV's blimps and kites.

Rapid-reaction Helikite communication systems have been developed to lift 4G base stations to provide reliable 4G communications for the European emergency services during large crowd events and disasters. Versions of these Rapid Reaction Communication Systems are currently in use by E.E., BT and many others.
